Lying directly opposite the Sicilian city of Trapani and forming part of the Egadi Islands archipelago, Favignana is a highly sought-after coastal destination during the summer season. Its location makes it the ideal choice for a summer getaway centred on sea, relaxation and spectacular landscapes.
July and August bring the year’s hottest days, characterised by hot, dry weather, long sunny days and clear blue skies. June and September offer ideal temperatures and fewer tourists than other summer months, making them perfect periods to visit Favignana and enjoy its beautiful beaches in peace and quiet.
In October, temperatures are mild, but days are shorter and the weather becomes increasingly windy and occasionally rainy. During the winter season, November, January and February are the wettest months of the year – periods when visiting Favignana is not recommended, as you wouldn’t be able to make the most of its many attractions.
